Why can’t we just stand in silence while we wait to buy our groceries? Are you really that miserable and lonely that you need to engage in a meaningless conversation with a complete stranger? I don’t want to talk to you and the fact that you were only buying unsalted saltine crackers tells me that no one else does either.

Times have changed. Complete strangers don’t talk to each other anymore. We just stare at our phones and pretend to seem busy. 

I hope you leave this world soon. You will not be missed. Once you’re gone everyone will live the the rest of the their lives a little less annoyed.
